I was born in London in 1968, and grew up in the muddy fields of East Anglia. I went to Trinity College Cambridge, followed by the Royal College of Art film school. I have made many TV documentaries, drama documentaries and short films that have been shown all over the world. These have won various prizes, including a Grierson award.

I have also written two acclaimed factual books, a young adult fiction series that has been translated into 15 languages, and now an adult thriller. I live in Suffolk, England.
