Scissorman emerges...
The thriller that for years I was calling Orpheus is now called Scissorman, and its ready to go. Dan and Lisa Thomas at Come Hither Design have designed a lovely cover, I have provided some drawings to the front, back, and the inside cover, which unfortunately you won't get to see in the e-book edition. I am going to post some of them up here. Naturally I'm very pleased and relieved that its out there, making its way in the world.
I was thinking of rewriting the blurb on the back here to describe the plot, but hopefully by clicking on it you will be able to read that for yourself. Should you be curious, Scissorman is a reference to the red-legged tailor in Struwwelpeter, that scissor-wielding Victorian bogeyman. I think it is fair to say that he made an impression on me, as well as countless other small children.
What next for Frank Moke? I am hoping to write more Moke novels, because I've got some ideas and I've come to like him. But I am under no illusions that the world of crime fiction is busy. Moke may have to remain within the bounds of this book, and his doodlings confined to this site. But I hope not...
I hope you like it...
