The Forgotten Echo
2012
The final part of Tom Scatterhorn’s remarkable adventures, and perhaps its the most remarkable of all. In it, Tom finds himself cast into the darkest corner of Don Gervase’s future world. This is a disconcertingly familiar place from which he must first escape and then set out on a quest to destroy not only Don Gervase Askary, but also the throbbing heart of Scarazand itself. It’s one boy against an empire, with far more than his own fate at stake …
In this book there’s pretty much everything — doppelgangers, hairless monkeys, giant water scorpions, a toothless sheepfarmer, a custard pie fight, an epic battle, betrayal revenge, love, loss and — oh yes, an ending where it all makes sense. Making everything that had unravelled so far ravel up again in a pleasingly satisfying way was a colossal challenge, and I’m very proud of it.
I like all Christopher Gibbs’ cover in this series, and I think this one is particularly beautiful.

This breathtaking climax to the Tom Scatterhorn trilogy will grip readers from the first page to the last — get ready for a non stop adventure! Parents In Touch
It was deliciously weird … I consider it a diamond in the ruff, the 1st book looked so innocent from the outside , I didn't even think it will reach such climax at the end. This trilogy has got everything, time travel, humor, adventure, intensity, craziness, sacrifice and a HERO against his wish. I guarantee a UNIQUE unpredictable story. I can say I never read anything like it before. Yami

The trilogy of Tom Scatterhorn’s remarkable adventures have been such a good read — very different in style from most fantasy, but intriguing, well-written, and engaging. Anna-Sofie

The biggest adventure yet. This book brings everything you ever learnt about The Museum’s Secret and The Hidden World together and it makes sense! Things you didn’t even think were important become linchpins! This novel references lots of things from the first two and it reveals many things and answers lots of questions that the last book should do … A brilliant finale to the Remarkable Adventures...
